SECOND YEAR students in Master (3rd): the detailed dissertation plan has to be uploaded in Campus no later than February 15, 2019 (midnight)

Online course registration for the Spring 2019 semester will be accessible via Campus from 9am on Monday 11 February until 5pm on Friday 1st March 2019

Degree Requirements

  • Respect the study plan and obtain 90 ECTS course credits ;
  • Submit and have approved a dissertation for 30 ECTS credits.

Each student could review the study plan with the academic adviser or the head of the department or programme each semester prior to enrolling in couses.

About the Dissertation

The Master’s dissertation is an original and personal piece of research. It may be written in English or in French. The dissertation is usually written during the fourth semester.

 

Evaluation: The final dissertation is evaluated by the dissertation supervisor and a second independent supervisor. Failure to achieve a minimum grade of 4, despite adequate supervision, will result in automatic failure of the whole programme.

About Master's Courses:

Each student must follow the requirements of her/his Master's curriculum and obtain at least 90 ECTS credits at the end of the fourth semester.Course registration is done online via the student's campus account. Evaluation: The evaluation procedures are specified in the syllabus of each course. A weekly semester course gives 6 ECTS credits and a note, a one-time workshop or course gives 3 ECTS credits and the mention pass or fail.Substitution: a compulsory course may be substituted if the student considers he already has the required knowledge (for the procedure, please refer to the internal directives).

Courses outside the curriculum or the Institute: Each student has the opportunity to take 6 credits in another curriculum of Master and 6 ECTS in another university (for the procedure, refer to the internal guidelines).
